Love the One You're With - Emily Giffin
Another great audiobook from the library! I was worried about whether or not I would like this book since I hated Something Blue, my first Giffin novel. I'm glad I gave her another chance. Ellen is easily a character who the reader can relate to. As I was listening, it felt like I was listening to a girlfriend or something that has happened to someone I know. All women can remember their first love or wonders what could have been if things had been different. Even though she made some choices that I would normally call stupid, I found myself curious and on her side throughout the entire book. After all, we are all human and we all make mistakes, most are with the best intentions and some are understandably in the name of love. Through Ellen's eyes, I fell in love with both Andy and Leo for different reasons. I liked that despite her final decision, there was the possibility that things wouldn't end up perfect for her. I didn't mind it but parts of it was a little cliche. Overall, I really enjoyed it from beginning to end and it is definitely possible that I will revisit this one sometime in the future.

I've liked some of this author's books and some not so much.
