About Me
So here's the update. My how things can change in the course of a year! Almost every aspect of my life different compared to this time last year but one thing remains the same: MY ABSOLUTE LOVE FOR BOOKS! I am proud to report that I have officially conquered my post- winter funk! 2010 was the first year in which I read pretty consistently throughout and I like to think it was thanks to my blog. I am proud of most of the reviews I posted and I think they have progressively gotten better. I am working on becoming a better writer and this blog also helps me with that. I read 46 books though I failed to complete the book challenges. No matter because this is a new year and that is going to be my new goal. Complete at least one book challenge.
For Christmas, I received a brand new E-Reader. I'm not trying to brag or anything but I'm super excited to use it, though was I originally against it. I love the smell and feel of an actual book and I'm sad they are having a negative effect on local bookstores. However, I am, little by little, going "green" and paperless is better for the environment. So, I will only buy the ones that I will want to have just in case there is a huge system wipe-out, hehe.
Here's to a new year folks! Oh, and I'm still open to comments or suggestions - good or bad.

About me 2010:
I absolutely love to read! It is one of my passions in life. It is absolutely wonderful to get so involved in a good story that once you start a book it's hard to put down and before you know it your whole day is gone. There are no regrets for spending a whole day reading especially if it's a good book.
I know all the book lovers out there can relate when I say there are times when you get into funks and every book you pick up just doesn't seem good enough. 2010 is a new year and although we are already a month and half into it I haven't been in a funk at all. In fact, now is the best time to read especially with Old Man Winter upon us.
I created this blog because I plan on breaking the after-winter funk. I am documenting all the books I have read this year and will read. I will write reviews on how I felt about each book. Hopefully, it will give other readers inspiration to read some of the books I chose and help break that funk. Also, I welcome any feedback whether good or bad. I love other peoples opinions or suggestions. I am always looking for new books to read so ... ENJOY!
